Frugal Friday-Valentine's Wreath

I have been looking for a good Valentine's wreath to make but have not found one that I am in love with. Buff and I were talking and she had the idea to make one out of body wash poufs! We put our minds together and came up with a wreath that we were both proud of!

Here is how we did it....

We found some scrap foam that Buff had laying around the house. We got a wire hanger and bent it into a circle.

We then cut a slit in the middle of the foam so that we could lay the hanger inside the foam. The foam then would bend to the shape of the hanger.

I then took the loofahs and cut the cord and string off them and then I could open the pouf and slide it onto our wreath.

After we got the poufs on the wreath, I took the hook from the hanger and hooked it into the other end of the foam to complete the circle and then taped it to make sure it would stay... I forgot to take pics of that step...sorry.

Buff found this purple heart at walmart 75% off!  It is a Christmas tree ornament! We took some clear jewelry string and decided to hang this in the middle of the wreath.

We had a small pink pouf that we had gotten in a Christmas present and took some purple scraps of tule to make some accents that look like flowers. We just pinned them in but you could also hot glue gun them on. The good think about using the white poufs is you can change the accents on it to fit any season. I searched for some pink poufs to make another wreath cause we have a white heart just like the purple one, but I could not find any pink ones, so you will just have to imagine that I did a pink and white one as well.

*Tip- It only took us 5 poufs to cover the wreath.
