Printable Teacher Card Set

One of my favorite gifts to give teachers is a set of personalized cards.  They can use them as thank you's, notes home, etc.  I made a set last year but ran out of time to make some for the teachers this year.  I decided a printable set would be quick and easy and I could use just print up new ones each year.

I love this natural brown paper and decided to do a few in white and a few in brown.

After printing, cutting and folding I just added some envelopes and a little bit of bakers twine.  And there you go - a quick and easy gift!

If you'd like to print up a set of your own you can get a blank copy HERE and add in your teacher's name.  Or if you don't know how to do that, you can get a generic "just a note" set HERE.  Enjoy!

Teacher Gift: Target Gift Card

I'm getting this up a little late for Teacher Appreciation Week, but I think it would also make a great end-of-the-year gift, too!  I made this little printable to go with a Target gift card (cuz I love Target and just assume every teacher does, too!).  :)  You can get the printable HERE.

You'll want to print the card onto white cardstock and make a slit on the black line with a box cutter or exacto knife.

Then glue the top and bottom of the card onto a larger piece of cardstock. (You can slip the gift card in to use as a guide for where to put the glue.)

Have your child sign it and slip the gift card in.  Easy peasy!

Teacher Gift: Glue Sticks

For Teacher Appreciation week we are doing a little gift each day.  Today we decided to get some glue sticks for Cailyn's teacher.  I saw THIS idea on Pinterest and tweaked it a bit.  Cailyn decided she wanted to make a circular tower to make it look like a giant glue stick.  :)  We gathered 7 glue sticks in a circle and used packing tape to keep them together.  Then repeated with 7 more.  We taped the 2 circles together, added some ribbon and a tag (which you can download HERE).  It was a quick and easy gift and I know they go through a lot of glue in their class so this will be perfect!

Teacher Appreciation Ideas

Teacher Appreciation week is just 2 weeks away (May 7th - May 11th).  I know teachers do so much for our kids and I am a firm believer in showing my gratitude to them.  I mean, they are with my kids the majority of the day, so they deserve an award for that alone! :P  Anyway,  I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite ideas from my Teacher Appreciation Pinterest Board.

This one got the most repins from my board.  It is from Build It Sew It Love It and she even gives you a cute little matching printable.  I had totally planned to do this one for Cailyn's teacher until I found out she already has this book.  Darn!

How cute is this eraser gumball machine?!  I think this would be a great gift for the classroom!

We made some of these book labels for Cailyn's teacher last year.  Very inexpensive but very cute!

I think this supply bucket from Corner House would be greatly appreciated by any teacher!  It is such a practical gift that can be used in any classroom.

Haphazard Happenstances has cute printables to go along with small gifts -- so you can bring your teacher a gift a day!

Have you decided what you'll be getting your teachers this year?
