Birthday Pancakes
To make a birthday breakfast super special, all you need are two simple things: pancake mix and a squeeze bottle (I got mine at Walmart for less than a buck; an empty ketchup bottle works well, too!).
Just mix up the batter (making it as smooth as possible) and pour into the squeeze bottle. Then "draw" batter images onto the pan and there you have it -- a perfectly cute (and easy!) breakfast. For Cailyn's birthday today Daddy made her a cake, some balloons and an "8". She was so excited and it was a great way to start her birthday.

Fall Subway Art
I just LOVE Subway Art. It is so popular right now and I have seen so many different ones all over the blogosphere. I finally decided it was time to make my own. I used a 24x24 piece of scrap wood that I found in the garage and spray painted it dark brown. I made a list of all the words that remind me of Fall and cut them out on cardstock using my Cricut. Once I had all the words where I wanted them I mod podged them onto the board and sprayed a sealer coat on top. I am so happy with how it turned out!

Jewelry Organization
I was tired of my jewelry getting all tangled together, not being able to find what I was looking for, and forgetting what jewelry I had, so I made this with some of my good friends. It was super easy to make. I just used an old picture frame that I already had and spray painted it white and sanded it down a little. Then got the board and hooks from Home Depot and hot glue gunned it all together. You can spray paint it any fun color for you or it would be cute in a bright color for a little girls room!

Raspberry Jalapeno Jelly
Last year, I made jalapeno jelly for my neighbor Christmas gifts. We decided to try the raspberry flavor this time around and it turned out great. You just serve it over cream cheese on top of ritz crackers. This is a great appetizer for a party or pot luck. You can also give them aways as gifts! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
1c. fresh or frozen raspberries 3/4 c apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper 1/3 (6 fluid oz) container liquid pectin
1/2 c. chopped jalapeno pepper
3 cups white sugar
1. sterilize jars and lids
2. In a sauce pan, bring to boil over medium heat raspberries, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, sugar and vinegar. Boil rapidly for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 min.
3. Stir in the pectin. Pour into the sterilized jars and seal. Store in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening.

Fall Specimen Art
I fell in love with specimen art the first time I saw it on Tatertots & Jello and I decided to make my own for Fall. I got a set of shadow boxes from Michaels, cut out some leaves on my cricut, and used foam dots to give them a bit of dimension. I love the way they turned out and I can change them out for each season. :)

Printable Lunch Box Jokes
A few weeks ago I found some cute printable Halloween jokes online that you can put in your kids' lunch boxes. So I printed them off for Cailyn and she absolutely LOVED them! When Halloween was over she asked if I could make some more because apparently all her friends wanted more, too. So of course, I obliged. I made these ones for Thanksgiving and I will probably end up making them for each holiday. :) If you want to be the coolest mom ever, just print some up and stick 'em in your kids lunches. An easy way to bring a smile to their cute little faces. Click HERE to download.
